Visit with Kids

Planning to visit with kids? Here's what you need to know:

  • The museum is a place for family fun. We are always adding new interactive experiences to appeal to children of all ages. There are things to touch and explore in addition to things to see and read.
  • Like most museums, there are objects which visitors may not touch. Please talk to young visitors about appropriate museum etiquette.
  • Bathrooms, drinking fountains, and benches are available.

The museum offers guided tours for schools and other groups. Please schedule at least two weeks in advance. One chaperone for every 10 children is required. To schedule your tour, contact us or call (530) 9FOSSIL (936-7745).
